Kendall hit several big shots to help propel Athens Academy to a win and trip to the region tournament championship game against a scrappy Providence squad. Lawson pulled up a few feet inside half court to beat the buzzer on one play and used her ball handing to create space and knock down a three while being fouled on another play. Lawson makes the defense work as she is in constant motion on the court trying to free herself and get the basketball. When she catches it, Lawson is very adept at getting all the way to the basket and scoring and is also a consistent, steady shooter from three point range.

Lawson racked up 11 points in a 65-24 win over Oglethorpe County. She drained three three-pointers and had a smooth scoop layup. Kendall plays at her own pace offensively and can heat up opposing ball handlers with her pressure defense. She has great court vision, taking a major step forward as a playmaker in Year 2.

Kendall gets after it as a do-everything guard. Her court vision has improved from her freshman season, now a true playmaker that makes others better. She is a pesky defender with quick hands and usually finds a way to mix in threes with her drives.
