This girl puts her head down and works. She keeps the game simple and that has worked for her for the past four years. She is a player that you might know what she is doing but you still can’t stop her. She is a double-double machine and just plays the game the right way.

Utah Valley University has a good one in Kitchen as she just does it all. She is an effort player that just outworks her competitors and her skills also pair up well with her IQ. With 10 double-doubles this season and over 1,200 points scored in her career she is going to go down as one of the best to come out of Davis High School.

The more and more I watch Kitchen lay the more I start to see what a steal Utah Valley got in her. She is a bucket out there. Her tempo and ability to score in different areas of the floor make her tough to coral. When she is not scoring in double digits she is a beats on the glass. Her season averages right now are unreal. She not only has a D1 skill set she has a D1 motor. With Kitchen playing this way right now you have to wonder if they will lose in region play. My guess is no.

Kendra has a big time motor and you can see it a lot when she is running down the floor. Her ability to rim run and use that speed to get early position is effective. She is able to get some easy lays and she is also taking advantage of early low post position. when she does not get the ball she pushes out into the perimeter and spreads the floor. That versatility has really caught the eyes of next level coaches. She will be attending Utah Valley next year and they got themselves a good one.
