registered throughout her team’s 21 games during the regular season. That places Brant as the #1 rebounder in the state, according to the numbers, for the 2025-2026 high school season throughout all Class levels. This is quite the accomplishment and something that makes sense when you think about it. Brant is competing on a highly competitive Gladbrook-Reinbeck team in a lower Class within Iowa. If you combined that with the fact that she is coordinated, calculated, smart, and she has natural size at 6FT – it checks out. If GBR wants to keep on their same pace, they need to stay on track and that starts with the play of Brant out of the Post. If she can limited the opposing team to one shot per possession, it’s going to heighten their chances in the end. It’s just basic math.

has been a top-notch scoring and rebounding force whenever she laces up her kicks for Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School. Brant is a PF/SF, that comes in right 6’0. I like to say that she is more of a SF because of her guard-like adaptability but I understand how in some systems she would be considered purely a PF with her production under the basket. When GBR has success this season, a main reason for that is the play of Brant. She is super tough to contain in small spaces and she works relentlessly in pursuit of the basketball. This is another group that we are hoping to see making a splash in few weeks during their post-season run. If they move diligently and play their hand correct, they should win some ball games.

of Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School was one of our players to watch because of her combination of height (6′), coordination, and aggressive but calculated play. Brant has an edge to her. She isn’t scared to mix it up with any other opponent on either side of the ball and that just speaks to her tenacity. As of most recent, Brant hit a big rebounding mile stone. This is someone that she should be proud of but not satisfied with. From the looks of it, she is going to be able to continue to play following this Winter season so hopefully she can build off of that momentum.

a talented skill player. She is also hard working and dedicated to her craft as a whole. Brant is always trying to get better. She is coordinated and balanced in everything she attempts. She has great touch on the ball and she is always willing to move around on the floor to suit the needs of her team. This makes her an avid rebounder of the basketball. She is very good at finding her opponent, boxing them out first, then going to rebound the ball. When someone fundamentally rebounds like that, it plays well not only at the Varsity high school level but at the next level as well.

this Spring but from what I have seen, she is continuing to put in work in her off-season to be the best athlete she can be. Brant has been someone we have spoken about for years now. We always seem to see her on the State floor in one way or another when the end of the year comes around and I wouldn’t be shocked if that is the case once again this upcoming season. Brant works hard at the PF position and she is pretty versatile. She can play the 3 or 4 with ease. It’s just whatever her team might need out of her. Which isn’t a bad thing. This demonstrates she could compete in multiple systems in college, opening up her chances to compete at the next level, sooner rather than later.

is going to be prospect that picks up a lot of love this Spring/Summer if she competes on the road. Throughout the 2024-2025 season, Brant is having a memorable year posting a double-double each game with 17 PPG and 13 RPG. Brant is also the leader in her teams APG with 3.8, demonstrating that she does it all for her Rebels program. Their first round matchup will be a good one from an outsider perspective. North Linn is a seasoned beast with senior talent. If the Rebels come out and play their game, feeding Brant early and often, it should be a close one.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck sits with a better than average record of 15-2 walking into Thursday evening and they are looking to keep that rolling as they host Janesville tonight. The GR Rebels have been handling their business each contest and a big reason for that is the play of

. When it comes to Brant, she is the team leader at the PF position, while she averages a double-double with 17.5 PPG – 12.5 RPG. The best ability that Brant possesses in my book is her versatility with her size. At 6’0, she moves well for her height and that gives her the chance to move around the court. Depending on the situation, she can post up someone smaller than her next to the basket or she can step out and screen the three point line, where she can then either roll to the hoop, pop to the mid-range, or catch from the outside for a take into the lane from the three point line. Defensively, her mixture of length and athletic build help her control near the hoop at a thorough rate. All in all, I think we see Brant and GR in the State Tournament. If thye continue to play how they have been, they are going to be tough to stop once they get on a roll.

of Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School. Brant, a 6’0 Forward, has been a constant the past two season with GR and I don’t expect that to change for her last two seasons either. Brant has been a focal point of this team’s system in the past on both ends. She has done her job of rebounding at an efficient rate on offense and defense, she controls the painted around whenever she is near, she does her work early-on by trying to beat everyone down the floor on each play, and she is a vocal communicator that others can look up to. I need to see a little more out of Brant over these next three months but from what I’ve seen so far, I’m a big fan.

of Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School. Brant is a 6’0 Forward, that averaged 13.5 PPG and 12.5 RPG a season ago. Brant is also a player with a high motor and some really nice ability on both sides of the basketball. Offensively, she can move from inside-to-out and play a thorough game, she is very good with her back to the basket, she can pass out of the post, she is an aggressive rebounder, and she has great knowledge of the situations unfolding in front of her. Defensively, she never stops moving. She can either wall up against someone that has more size around the painted area or she can stick on fast guard that might want to attack off the dribble. Either way, she usually finds success in one way or another and that’s why she jumps into our Top 75 in this Update.

came in last season to the Varsity level and showed her worth on several different levels. Most importantly – she averaged right around 13.5 PPG and 13 RPG throughout her 23 games. Brant comes in as a 6’0 Forward with some dominant traits near the rim. She understands her own ability, how to move well for her size, and she knows her team is trying to accomplish in any specific moment. No matter the age level, Brant comes into her Junior year as a Top Rebounder out of the 1A Class. With the right guidance and system around her, I’m sure she will continue to thrive.
