About Kennedy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with 100% effort both offense and defense. I'm equally strong both right and left handed. I look to score but also for assists, if there is a higher scoring percentage. Even though I play guard, I battle for rebounds.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I've always loved sports and being active. I've played competitive basketball and soccer since elementary school. Soccer and basketball are similar in many ways. Playing both has helped me be a better all-around athlete. It’s also important for me to stay focused on academics. I plan to attend a school of veterinary medicine after completing my undergraduate studies.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

FFA Green Hand Degree, Earth Science Honors Academic Award, Animal Science 2 Honors Academic Award, English 1 Honors Academic Award, NCHSAA Scholar Athlete Semester 1 and 2, Chemistry Honors Academic Award, Spanish Academic Award, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a piano Student, participate in youth ministry, and the West Stanly Agricultural Show Team. I've helped with Meals on Wheels and other various elderly care groups.

What type of college are you looking for?

I think team chemistry is very important so, I'm looking for a school where I fit well with the coach's philosophy and team playing style.
