After averaging a team-leading 18.6 points per game and helping Daviess County capture its first-ever region championship and Sweet 16 appearance, Kennedy followed up with a really good spring and summer playing with STARS Basketball. She earned her offers from Brescia, Trevecca Nazarene, and Georgetown College. Heading into her senior season as the Lady Panthers’ all-time leading scorer, she’ll be one of the clear favorites to take home 3rd Region Player of the Year.

Kennedy’s junior campaign was one for the ages. The 5’8 sharpshooter averaged 18.6 points per game and led the Lady Panthers to an historic season, winning the 3rd Region championship for the first time in program history and earned their first-ever trip to the Sweet 16. In the opening round of the tournament against Danville Christian, she showcased her abilities on the big stage finishing with 19 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Kennedy also etched her name in the record books by becoming Daviess County’s all-time leading scorer.

Kennedy is having another spectacular season for Daviess County. The 5’8 sharpshooter leads the Lady Panthers in points per game (18.6) and is second in rebounds per game (4.3). Kennedy has a reputation for being a brilliant shooter from deep who shoots with accuracy and has range that extends well beyond the 3-point line, but she has evolved as a scorer and is showing the ability to deliver off the bounce and make good use of her turn-around jumper from the low block. I also feel like she is a underrated passer and deserves more credit as a defender.
