About Kensington

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a good defensive player with the ability to communicate effectively with my teammates. While I am capable of scoring, I am stronger at providing the assist such that my teammates get the good shot.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a big personality with the ability to easily make friends. People find it easy to talk to me. I am a gentle giant.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am or have been involved in the following clubs: broadcasting, chess, fashion, ping pong, anime, dungeons and dragons and social deduction. In the past I have received student of the month on multiple occasions.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a black belt in taekwondo. I provide one-on-one training at my school, assisting kids having difficulty achieving their next belt. I volunteering at the Houston Food Bank to pack meal boxes with BASF Corporation, create gift filled boxes for Operation Christmas Child ensuring that kids around the world receive a gift at Christmas and so much more.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My most significant challenge has been physical conditioning. I am a big girl and am learning to become more healthy. I want to become a better player for the teams I play on. I also find it hard to focus at times on the big picture. I am easily distracted. Girls basketball can be an aggressive sport. I want to be able to leave whatever aggressiveness that happens in the game on the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a good academic college with a good athletic program...far away from my home. =)
