Kassing is an exciting junior for a good Brown County team. She can make a huge impact on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Kenzie does a great job on the boards as well making her a great all around impact player. She is one to watch as Brown County starts regional play.

Brown County is one of the best teams in 1A, and Kassing is a major component behind this. As a player who is the dominant scorer for the program, she also happens to be one of, if not the best, playmakers as well. Her growth and development over the past couple of years have been fun to watch. Defensively, she has the same energy to be the best on the floor. Averaging around 5 steals a game is no easy task.

Kassing has a lot in her skill set that can change the entire outcome of a game, but the vision, to me, is at the top. At her size, she can make plays with ease, especially in the open court. She can see above the defense as well as ahead, and when a possession is there for her to score, she can do so at all levels.

Kassing has no off button and can legit put up solid numbers in every category in the stat box. She’s a player who can beat you off simple skill and patience, but there is a hint of athleticism that comes out when the possessions call for it. She’s a scoring guard that can slide into the playmaking role and be an impact player from there as well. Strong upside.

Another small town standout is out in Mt. Prospect, and after a strong sophomore season and an impressive summer, Kassing looks ready for a bigger junior year. She’s picked up offers at multiple levels, and it’s clear why colleges are starting to take notice. She has one of those unique, versatile skill sets that can blend in with any system, and she can be effective from both inside and out. She’s flown under the radar, but expect her to break into our top 30 with the next update. The potential is there.
