About Kesia
Expert Analysis
Mike Benson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Boeshans is a high-level recruit. The 6’3 forward runs like a Division 1 post. She is already a very good defender and has an opportunity to be elite on that side of the ball. She is an excellent rebounder and has a great feel for the game by the basket. Her sealing has improved and she is able to feel defenders on her back and react accordingly. Kesia is well on her way to another All-Region season.

Kesia is starting to blow up on the scene after having an All-Region season as a freshman and a very impressive AAU season. She is gaining attention of some local Division 1 schools due to her raw athletic ability. She is a true 6’2 and runs incredibly well for her size. She has very long arms and is eager to get better. She has a nice soft touch around the rim and a shooting form that indicates she will be able to stretch it out to the three-point line in the future.

The first player you notice on the floor when you walk into the gym is Kesia. She is a very tall and athletic looking player. She runs the floor well for a big and her long arms make it very difficult for opponents to score around the rim. She has good hands and can knock down a mid post jumper. Kesia has a high ceiling as a prospect.

Kesia is one of the first athletes you notice when you walk into the door due to her 6’2 frame. You quickly see why she is a high-level prospect after watching her move. She runs the floor well and is light on her feet. She moves laterally well and is super tough defensively. She has a nice soft touch around the rim and has really embraced the grind of getting better this summer. Kesia is poised for a great high school career and will have many colleges lining up to speak with her in the coming years.

Kesia is a great player and prospect due to her size and athletic ability. She is a great defender, keeping her feet and using her length to alter and block shots. She also averaged about 15 points per game, utilizing her size to seal defenders who try to front her for easy baskets at the rim. She was a key to Washburn’s press-break game, oftentimes being the girl who finishes the press break and initiates the half-court offense. I am excited to see how Kesia improves year to year.
