I like her game. Kevonna didn’t need to play an overwhelming or completely dominating style to have an impact. Most of the time, she was in the right place at the right time, and she made good decisions with and without the ball in her hands.
Her primary weapon is her ability to get downhill and score, but she can read the defense and just take what they give her. A couple of times, she put her head down and drove it all the way to the basket. Other times, she drove hard, drew the help defense, and kicked the ball out to an open teammate. Defensively, she played very solid on-ball defense and walked away with a couple of nice steals. Overall, nice job!

Hurst has always been a threat from outside, yet she’s becoming more powerful off the dribble and finishing even stronger after contact see evaluation here, and peep this, her crossover in traffic was a problem, so was her “stop and pop” jumper. Defense keeps getting better, yep, including playing the passing lane

Hurst has hit some big shots this season in front of me, and I’m usually covering other divisions, so she asked, “When will you take a good look at me?” and I said soon. Yeah, she can drop the mid to long range, catch and shoot included, and score off the dribble, but her being “vocal on the court” and getting position to outrebound taller players gets her the #THROWBACK hashtag
