Don’t let the height fool you, Keyila might be little but she can get it done on the court. The PG already has good handles. She makes good decisions with the ball under full court pressure and in the half court. She sees the court well and can deliver on passes. Jenkins is embracing the PG role, but she isn’t afraid to get her own buckets. She can get into the paint and battle among taller players for points and trips to the free throw line. Her shot from both 2pt and 3pt range are consistent, she puts up points for Box State Legacy 13U. On D, she is already becoming a lockdown defender. She can stay with dribblers in the full court and close out to shooters in the half court. And she will definitely take the ball right out of the hands of a post play who isn’t paying attention. Get to know Jenkins this summer because she will be around for a long time.
