Keziah Renee’ Keziah Renee’ 5'7" | CG/SG Butler | 2026 State KY led Butler with a team-high 15.7 points per game, along with six rebounds, two assists, and two steals per contest while shooting an efficient 50% from the field and nearly 80% from the free-throw line. She helped guide Butler to a 19–8 record and a 22nd District Championship, earning 1st All-Region, 6th Region Player of the Year honors and recognition as a Kentucky Miss Basketball candidate. Keziah finishes her career with over 1,700 points, 700 rebounds, 150 assists, and 150 steals, capping off a highly productive and impactful high school career.

Keziah is on a mission to become the best player in the 6th Region. She drilled 77 threes at an unreal 53.5 percent, averaged 16.8 points, and led her team with 7 rebounds. Her shooting stretches defenses to their breaking point and fuels everything Butler does on offense. After dominating the 22nd District, Keziah now has her eyes locked on a deeper run in the 6th Region Tournament!

Last season, Butler finished 22-7 and captured the 22nd District title, led by standout guard Keziah Renee, who averaged a team-leading 16.8 points and 7 rebounds per game and reached the 1,000-point as well as the 500-rebound mark. She picked up several offers during the travel season and now heads into her senior year with high expectations, and will be in the running for 6th Region Player of the Year honors.

Keziah had a monster season at Butler and has a ton of momentum going into her final AAU season. Averaging 17 and 7 is impressive in the competitive 6th region but her shooting splits are absolutely ridiculous. Renee’ shot 57% from the field and 54% from three this season! If she does those kinds of numbers during AAU, Keziah will have schools lining up to offer.

In their second season with Head Coach Candyce Wheeler at the helm, Butler finished as the top team in the 6th Region once again, posting a 22-7 record, going 12-1 in region play. The Bearetts successfully defended their 22nd District title and closed the regular season on a 10-game win streak, before suffering a heartbreaking loss in the first round of the region tournament. Keziah Renee’ Keziah Renee’ 5'7" | CG/SG Butler | 2026 State KY was undoubtedly the catalyst behind the Bearettes’ success this season, leading the team in both scoring with 16.8 points per game (26th in the state) and rebounding with 7.3 per game, while shooting 57% from the field and 53.5% from three-point range. Along long the way, she made 1st Team All-Region and joined the 1,000-point and 500-rebound club.

Keziah Renee’ Keziah Renee’ 5'7" | CG/SG Butler | 2026 State KY had a big night at the Queen of the Commonwealth on Friday. She set a school record with a game-high 36 points, which almost matched her career-high 37 points. Her performance led Butler to 67-51 victory over Ashland Blazer.

I am glad to see Keziah Renee back in her home state. I remember watching Keziah for the first time at the Hoops4Harvest her freshman year at Mercy Academy. She balled out in the game and made a half-court shot during the halftime festivities. Keziah averaged 11.5 points and 3.6 rebounds in 21 games played last season for Jeffersonville High School in Indiana. I think she will make an immediate impact for the Bearettes this upcoming season.
