Thomas showed up big in the first round of the playoffs showing her refined game by facilitating and orchestrating. Thomas rebounds the ball at a high level adding possessions for her team and finishes strong around the goal. Thomas is a level headed next level prospect with the poise, IQ and skill to make an immediate impact at her college of choice. delivered a commendable performance against Tioga. Khia contributed 5 points, successfully converting 5 out of 8 shots from the field. Khia demonstrated a strong effort in driving to the basket, effectively drawing fouls and creating challenges for the opposing team, as one of their players encountered early foul trouble. Khia has embraced her role and supported her upperclassmen, experiencing the pinnacle of success as a state champion. Each year, her growth has been evident, and last year she emerged as the primary playmaker at Parkway. As the point guard, she confidently took and made open shots, handled full-court pressure with composure, and consistently made intelligent decisions that contribute to winning – qualities that coaches highly value at the next level. What distinguishes Thomas is her ability to control the tempo of the game and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure. She recently received an offer to play at the next level, and more opportunities are certain to follow. Coaches seeking a high-IQ guard who plays with poise should take a close look at Thomas

Khia is known for her defense and her ability to push the ball in transition, but she is extremely overlooked as a shooter. Her ability to hit shots beyond the arch in heavy traffic or with heavy contests is elite. The defense could be closing in on her and she’d still drain the shot.

Surprise, Surprise the rich get richer as they say as Khia will be attending Parkway High School. While small in stature, she held her own at the Fab 50. Khia has the potential to be one of the better lead guards in the state in the 2026 class. One thing that stood out to me was the pace she played at. She never sped up playing against older competition. She knocked down a few shots, but you can tell she has pure PG instincts (Pass first).
