There are several prospects that commit to the next level without hitting their full potential yet. College is a place that lets you unlock what you can really be, as long as you are in the right place. I have a feeling that Keira McCormick Keira McCormick 6'2" | C Waukon | 2025 State IA could turn into a consistent college producer if she keeps on working on her craft. McCormick has the height that all coaches love. She also has a good touch on the ball and good coordination overall. I’d say she has a very nice foundation to build on in the right system. It won’t be easy but it’s doable. She has always been a better than average rebounder, along with producer near the hoop. I expect that to become greater and more dominant over-time. If that happens, everyone else better watch out cause Simpson is going to have a beast on their hands.

Keira McCormick Keira McCormick 6'2" | C Waukon | 2025 State IA is a name that everyone should know if you are paying close attention to high school ball in Iowa this Winter. McCormick is a 6’2 Center that competes with Waukon High School. As a Junior, she averaged close to a double-double in Points-Rebounds with 14.5 PPG and 9.9 RPG. If you examine film from McCormick, you can tell that she is very raw in her abilities on the floor but there is a foundation in place to build off of. She does the obvious things well for her size like rebound, pick & roll, and hitting an outlet pass but she just needs to continue to fine-tune some things as she continues to get older. I do expect her to put up some nice numbers this Winter once again and that should get her a chance to play at the next level in some form if she so chooses to go that route. It may be a process but if handled correctly, McCormick could be productive for years to come.
