Sun Prairie East’s top rebounder showed me why at The Expo. Terrific use of box out position and anticipation helped her stand out amongst a very talented group of rebounders. High energy player that excelled on the offensive glass giving her defender fits all day.

Versatility is the name of the game for Place. The 5’10 wing can guard all five positions at the high school level and create issues for opposing teams on that end of the floor. She’s laterally quick and has the length to contest shots, jump passing lanes, and move her feet defensively on the perimeter. She may not be a name highlighted much in the Madison area because she’s not a lethal offensive kid, but I’d argue that what she does for Sun Prairie East is as valuable, if not more valuable, than scoring 15-20 per game.
