The Beaver Dam guard has been the most offensively sound kid the Golden Beavers have had since she got to campus but hadn’t utilized that until this season. She’s been an efficient 20-point scorer for the Golden Beavers. Donaldson also averages over seven rebounds per game, the most in her high school career.

She’s a tough matchup because she has forward-type strength but can also stretch the floor and beat defenders off the first step. Her strength allows her to play through contact which she uses to carve her way to the rim or create space for her shots. She poses a serious threat from the perimeter and consistently hits the shot from the arc. Donaldson is also an excellent defender with quick feet and strong anticipation skills. So far this season, she’s averaging 19.7 points per game and shooting 41% from the field.

The Beaver Dam guard has been the future of the Golden Beaver program for the last two seasons, and the future is now. Everything has been different about the program since she first stepped onto the fieldhouse floor, but she may be the best player in the Badger-Large this season. Her ability to attack the basket and score on the perimeter makes her one of the most challenging players to get off her game in the conference, and we’ll likely see her have a career year with the newfound responsibility she has for the Golden Beavers.

The Beaver Dam guard has an awkward-looking shot, but it falls more often than it doesn’t. She’s a true three-level scorer with some physicality that helps her finish through traffic. I’ve liked what she’s brought since she walked in the door at Beaver Dam, and she has the trust of her teammates to make things happen for the Golden Beavers now that their 24 class is out the door. I trust she’ll make things happen for them in the Badger Large.
