About Kiera

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I think I play like Allen Iverson. 3 level scorer.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm loyal to a fault. I love being around people, especially my teammates. I'm always competing at everything and it can drive my family and friends a little nuts! :)

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

When we don't have a game on Saturday's I'm involved with helping the Little Eagles. I'm able to teach 4th-7th graders the game I love so much. I have also volunteered my time to help run a 2 day camp through Central Valley Prospects. The camp brings in the best local high school players to help coach 7th and 8th grade girls. My freshman year I received a scholar athlete award for my GPA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My team and I do 15 hours of community service every year.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I grew up in a small town and when we moved to a different city my freshman year, I really struggled at first. It was difficult to leave all my childhood friends.. It's been over a year now and I love my new friends and teammates but often think of my old friends.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that will give me the best opportunity to compete on the floor and at the same time obtain my business degree.

Kiera is the leading scorer and playmaker for the 27-4 Immanuel Eagles. The smooth combo guard has an all-around skillset that is very impressive on the offensive end. Kiera can create her own shot anytime she chooses. She can spot-up and make shots from all over. She flourishes in transition. She plays with poise and control, manipulating the defense to set her teammates up for easy looks. The game comes easy for Kiera. She can make her presence known offensively on and off-the-ball. Sound mechanics and good footwork on her jumper. Flat-out gamer and a proven winner at the high school level despite her youth.
