Green has a way of impacting a game without scoring a point. Her energy, toughness, and defensive intensity help establish the tone from the opening tip. Green takes charges, pressures ball handlers, battles for loose balls, and loves to embrace the physical part of the game. She can play this way because of her athleticism, speed, strength, and mental edge. Furthermore, Green has a relentless motor and a competitive spirit that can energize teammates and frustrate an opponent. When that opponent has a similar mindset, you know there will be fireworks. Every successful team needs a player willing to do the hard work, and Green fills that role exceptionally well. When it comes to setting the tone with effort, toughness, and defense, Green stood out throughout the FABC Showcase.

She routinely takes on the challenge of defending the opposing team’s top guard while bringing energy on both ends of the floor. Green is an athletic and physical player who takes charges and cuts players off of their path to the goal. On the offensive end, she is a selfless player who can create her own shot, make plays for teammates, and keep the ball moving within the offense. Green also rebounds well from the guard position and pushes the pace in transition, making her a constant playmaker for her team.

Kimora played with an edge for the Suns in the games I saw and was a very good backcourt mate with Jy’Aira Washington Jy’Aira Washington 5'7" | CG/SF Northeast-St. Petersburg | 2027 State FL helping lead the offensive attack. Attack is the right word as Green did so with reckless abandon, but under control, as she got into the paint and created problems for every team she faced. Whether she pulled up for a short jumper, finished at the rim over taller defenders, or created contact and got to the line, Green put points on the board efficiently and effectively. She is a physically strong kid who defended her position well and also contributed on both ends of the court rebounding the basketball.

If there’s a loose ball on the floor and five players are going after it, Kimora Green Kimora Green 5'5" | CG State FL is coming out with it. If you handle the ball loosely, she’s taking it—and if you try to hold on too long, she might take your arm and the ball. Green is a true competitor who plays with edge, strength, and athleticism. With a quick burst and a high motor to match, she makes things happen all over the floor. On the defensive end, Green is a tone-setter. She applies pressure, forces turnovers, and disrupts the opponent with her physicality and instincts. Her ability to create chaos—whether it’s ripping the ball, jumping passing lanes, or turning 50/50 plays into wins—makes her a constant problem for opposing guards. Green is an energy player and a defensive enforcer. She can impose her will on the defensive side of the ball.

Kimora impacted the game in multiple winning ways. She buried a deep three, scored on a turnaround in transition, and finished creatively with her left around size. She battled for an offensive rebound putback and later converted a key two-point take while Tampa Catholic managed the clock. Perhaps most importantly, she took a huge charge under a minute to go that prevented the game from tightening to 4 points — a momentum-saving play that showcased her toughness and awareness.

She can score at multiple levels – can hit the timely three, she can get to the rim, and she can defend with urgency. Loose balls, deflections, and effort plays often determine close games, and Green is that player who consistently provides them. Momentum shifts and games change from hustle and effort – that’s Green’s game and that makes her an X Factor the moment she steps on the floor.

Kimora always provides a spark for Tampa Catholic by bringing energy on both ends of the floor. She applied consistent pressure defensively and was effective attacking off the dribble by getting into the paint and finding open teammates. In the open floor, she did a good job finishing in transition, turning defense into easy offense and helping TC maintain control of the game.

KImora Green showed glimpses of the athleticism and versatility that she displayed at the Florida Expo. She showed a lot of versatility with the ability to score on the perimeter and in the mid-range area. Green is that energy player who makes an impact in a lot of areas: blocked shots, rebounds, steals, assists, free throws, etc. Green was under the radar during the Invitational, but will be a player to watch in the second half of the season. With teams concentrating heavily on Sharpe and Knox, Green is an important part of the team’s future and goals. she will be a player to watch going forward

Kimora Green Kimora Green 5'5" | CG State FL has long been known as one of the best defenders in the state, capable of locking up her matchups full court and quickly turning defense into offense. This season at Tampa Catholic, Green takes on an even bigger responsibility as one of the team’s primary offensive contributors and she’s proven in summer and fall league play that she’s more than ready. With her improved ability to shoot off the catch and the dribble, combined with her trademark defensive intensity, Green will play a major role in Tampa Catholic’s pursuit of the 3A state championship.

Green played with heart on every possession — diving for loose balls, crashing the boards, and defending with intensity. She used her athletic frame to attack downhill and finish through contact. On the defensive end her strength allowed her to guard bigger players inside while still switching onto wings. Offensively, Green showed confidence facing up and hitting mid-range shots, but her greatest impact came from her effort and her presence.
