Marcengill maintains a consistently active athletics schedule. Not only has she played volleyball in addition to her basketball pursuits at 3A West-Oak, she has also played AAU on the Adidas circuit with Upward Stars 3SSB . Marcengill lifted her Warriors to a 17-8 and a 6-2 region record with both losses coming against eventual 3A state champion Walhalla. She played in all 25 games this past season for West-Oak and averaged 12.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.2 steals per contest. If that was what Marcengill got accomplished as a freshman, imagine how she will build on that as a sophomore.
