has a serious injury occur that is going to hold her out for a considerable amount of time, if not the entire year. While this is unfortunate, if Hess were to work back to being healthy by the Spring, she could still sign to play college ball. With her smooth dribble, ferocious attitude, and her production – there is definitely a spot or two out there for her on some sort of collegiate roster. This is someone that seems to compete with a chip on her shoulder mentality so if she really wanted too, I’m sure she could make it happen.

with play the 2 or 3 position because she is going to come in handle the PG role. Hess is someone that has compete out of Colorado and Wyoming for AAU the past few seasons, doing the best she can at showing her worth to anyone coming to watch. This high school season, a lot will ride on Hess and her leadership. This is a skilled prospect but she has to lead by example if she wants to have a solid season with this group. That means taking the blame for things even though it isn’t her fault, leading from the front with her actions, and showing everyone that no matter what happens – they are going to be alright in the end if they have each other and stay positive. If everyone can buy into that, then watch out cause Scottsbluff will be a team to see this upcoming season.

might only come in right around 5’5 in height but her production speaks much bigger than that. Last year as a Junior, Hess averaged 11.8 PPG on 36% shooting, including averaging 4.1 RPG, 4.1 APG, and 4.2 SPG. You want to talk about a prospect that is underrated out of this 2025 Class in Nebraska? Look no further. Not only did Hess average double-digits while helping her team to a positive 15-5 record, she did that and had impressive numbers averaging over 4 RPG, APG, and SPG, all season long. If that doesn’t stand out to anyone watching or checking the box scores, I’m not sure what will. Hess can play and if she finds her perfect fit at the next level, she could also produce on that type of floor as well in the right circumstances. She just needs a shot and the rest will be history.

of Morrill High School has been her team’s leader in PPG, APG, and SPG this season while helping the Lions to an overall 12-4 record. Hess leads from the front and demonstrates each night that she is someone that her teammates can look up to. She possesses a smooth dribble, quick movement up and down the court, and a great head on her shoulders as to what she should do in any given situation. The start of this season has been a successful one for this group so far. They have been playing team basketball, getting everyone involved at a steady rate while their leader/leaders take over when it matters the most during clutch time. If they continue with this recipe moving into the Post-season, they are going to be able to make a run before this year comes to an end.
