Kloie committed to play Division I softball at the University of North Alabama last week. During her junior season, she averaged 9.2 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, helping Franklin-Simpson finish atop the 4th Region with a 28-3 record. She was the unsung hero during their Sweet 16 run and will be relied upon even more as a senior following the graduation of the team’s top scorer.

Kloie Smith Kloie Smith 5'10" | SF Franklin-Simpson | 2026 State KY showed she was ready for the moment. Her touch around the rim stood out to me, and she always seemed to be in the right place at the right time, making plays for her team. Kloie brought energy to floor on defense and was relentless on the boards. I recall her pulling down an offensive rebound, and going up strong for the And-1. Her hunger for rebounds was evident, and she made a living at the free-throw.

Franklin-Simpson finished 30-2 last season and was one game away from making it to the Sweet 16. Standout forward Kloie Smith Kloie Smith 5'10" | SF Franklin-Simpson | 2026 State KY was an essential piece for the Lady Wildcats. She averaged 10.2 points and 5.3 rebounds a game. Kloie makes her presence felt on both ends of the floor. She scores at an extremely high percentage around the rim and is capable of making short jumpers in the paint and from the mid-range. Kloie is also a versatile defender who can guard the post and perimeter. Keep an eye out for her in the 4th region this upcoming season.
