Kolie gave Brooklyn Columbia Central a boost in the second quarter that helped them take a 23-20 lead into the half. She knocked down a mid-corner jumper, finished a layup with soft touch, and made a momentum-swinging block on the other end. Kolie worked hard to keep the ball in front of her on defense and was an active rebounding presence for the Golden Eagles. Kolie was an outstanding facilitator, scanning the floor and making great passes to teammates. She dished out a game-high five assists and led the team with two blocks. Kolie’s versatility will be an asset next year at Adrian College.

Kolie picked up an offer from Jackson College in August and she will be a key player for Columbia Central again this winter. Kolie has length and a versatile skill set that makes her effective inside or on the perimeter. Her active hands in the passing lanes create deflections and she drives hard downhill to score layups. Kolie has a confident mid-range jumper and finishes well off two feet with either hand.

Brown is a very high upside forward. She’s a tireless worker that will continue to maximize her potential. Brown brings energy to both ends of the floor and can get up and down the court with athleticism. She takes pride in her work on the glass.

Brown was seen at the Hillsdale Elite Camp. Brown showed that she’s an athletic forward that can make plays under the rim. She has an impressive re-jump allowing her to get off the ground and grabs rebounds high. Brown does a nice job of establishing position and boxing out.

After seeing Brown at the MSF Train and Play, I knew that she was a stock-riser. There’s just a lot of talent there and she does a lot of things very well. Brown is probably underrated as an overall athlete with her ability to run the floor and her bounciness under the rim. She rebounds bigger than her height, often due to her diligence in establishing position early.

Brown has a lot to like about her game and she showed it well at the train and play. She consistently got position under the rim, boxed out and got boards and put back opportunities. Brown once got 4 offensive rebounds in a single possession. She could also step outside and distribute the ball. Brown was probably one of the better passers in the gym.
