About Molly

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with an aggressive, confident edge and give maximum effort every possession. I hustle for loose balls, defend physically, and stay in constant motion to create opportunities. Offensively, I score at all three levels and keep my teammates involved. I am always on my toes and moving around to open things up on the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am naturally a very encouraging, uplifting, and confident person. I am ALWAYS cheering on my team mates and trying to figure out what went wrong if we did have a miscommunication on the court or what not. I 100% believe in "next play mentality"; it works so well for me. I maintain a positive mindset and believe growth comes from focusing on improvement, not negativity.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have earned an Academic Achievement Award and participated in FCA, Athletic Council, and Champions Day (a sports organization for kids/adults with special needs). I achieved All-Conference Honorable Mention in shotput my freshman year for track and field.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed way better communication skills, adaptability, and viewing challenges and mistakes as learning opportunities instead of disappointment. I have always had leadership qualities but I have been working on improving on reducing procrastination and I've been doing really well.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I don't know what you mean by significant challenges but basketball wise physically, I have injured my ankle, but haven't gotten injured since 8th grade. Mentally, I have struggled with being confident with myself on the court, but I don't usually ever feel like that anymore, because I have severely changed my mindset over the years. If I had a bad game, I know the next one is going to be great!

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for any college that is willing to work with me and make me a better basketball player everyday. I am open to any options.

Molly is an intriguing forward prospect with her length, non-stop hustle, and versatility. She cut back door and made a smooth transfer for a nice finish off two feet, chased down a loose ball, earned a trip to the line, and converted both free throws. Molly showed her outside range by stepping out to drain a wing three, protected the basket as a shot blocker, and shuffled laterally with maximum effort to cut off drives. She was a difference-maker for Michigan Premier 17U Select at the PGH MI College Tour III.
