She averaged a team-leading 18.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game, leading Pikeville to a 22–9 record while capturing the 59th District and 15th Region Championships. In a win over East Ridge, Kylie Alvin Kylie Alvin 5'3" | PG Pikeville | 2026 State KY finished with 31 points, 7 assists, 9 rebounds, and 6. She followed that up with another dominant showing against Floyd Central, finishing with 29 points, 7 assists, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals. The UPIKE commit looks like a shoo-in for 15th Region Player of the Year, and she’s playing with the urgency and leadership of a senior determined to leave her mark.

Kylie had a great junior season and will be looking to have an even bigger season! She made 44 3’s and a team leading 13.4 ppg. Kylie can score on all levels! Pikeville went undefeated in 59th District play last year and that is the goal again plus a major run at the 15th Region championship!

Kylie has a super quick first step, using her speed and quickness to blow by defenders with ease off the bounce and get to the basket. She also shot the ball well from the outside, demonstrating her ability to score both off the dribble and from beyond the arc. With her burst and shooting touch, Kylie is a tough assignment for any defender.

Kylie was one of my favorite players in our Expo earlier this month and I think a reloading Pikeville squad is going to need her to be really good to remain a factor in the 15th region. I believe Alvin is ready to step up and do a pretty good impression of 2024 Miss Basketball Trinity Rowe and could shoot way up the 2026 rankings if she performs the way I believe she is capable of this upcoming season.

Alvin carries herself with the swagger of a point guard. She’s calm and doesn’t get sped up. She takes pride in her defense. She distributes and scores. I mentioned on Twitter that Kylie reminds me of Trinity Rowe and you can definitely tell they have competed against each other a lot. Iron sharpens iron and I was very impressed with how sharp Kylie was on Saturday.
