The UPIKE commit looks like a shoo-in for 15th Region Player of the Year, and she’s playing with the urgency and leadership of a senior determined to leave her mark.

Kylie had a great junior season and will be looking to have an even bigger season! She made 44 3’s and a team leading 13.4 ppg. Kylie can score on all levels! Pikeville went undefeated in 59th District play last year and that is the goal again plus a major run at the 15th Region championship!

Kylie has a super quick first step, using her speed and quickness to blow by defenders with ease off the bounce and get to the basket. She also shot the ball well from the outside, demonstrating her ability to score both off the dribble and from beyond the arc. With her burst and shooting touch, Kylie is a tough assignment for any defender.

Kylie was one of my favorite players in our Expo earlier this month and I think a reloading Pikeville squad is going to need her to be really good to remain a factor in the 15th region. I believe Alvin is ready to step up and do a pretty good impression of 2024 Miss Basketball Trinity Rowe and could shoot way up the 2026 rankings if she performs the way I believe she is capable of this upcoming season.

Alvin carries herself with the swagger of a point guard. She’s calm and doesn’t get sped up. She takes pride in her defense. She distributes and scores. I mentioned on Twitter that Kylie reminds me of Trinity Rowe and you can definitely tell they have competed against each other a lot. Iron sharpens iron and I was very impressed with how sharp Kylie was on Saturday.

The ’26 KY guard is just really really good. Her two way presence is noticeable as soon as you watch her play. She really knows how to guard, and her offensive skill set is top notch. In their loss she had 9 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 assists. She also had a superb game in their win in which she provided 4 assists and 3 steals along with a made there. Love this kid’s potential.

A top tier PG in her state. She led the way last night with 7 assists, which is a huge number is a fast aau game. She also added 9 points on 2/2 from three, and 2 steals. She’s a dynamic playmaker that has everything it takes to be a next level PG. Really defends her position well too. Love her upside.

This kid is simply impressive. Does all the little things you want from your PG, and some. Extremely nice handles, and doesn’t allow the defense to control the pace. Knows how and when to change speeds and directions to get to her spots. Really shifty with the ball in her hands. Had a nice 12 point, 4 assists, 4 rebound game on Saturday night.
