She’s a high-IQ guard with great floor vision and ball-handling skills, she consistently makes those around her better. Offensively, Kylie can get to open areas on the court and make shots from anywhere and bring energy and she’s no slouch on the defensive end either. Downey definitely caught my attention! She’s extremely savvy. She did a great job with the ball in her hands, and she did a great job putting her teammates in a position to score. She has great court vision, and she will find the open player. Kylie is a solid two-way athlete. She has a beautiful outside shot, and she is ready to let it fly from anywhere on the floor. If you don’t have Downey on your radar, you should. She’s a next level athlete!

back on the floor today and I like what I saw from her against Team 2. She was quick off the dribble and her handles looked sharp. I liked her effort on defense. She jumped the passing lane for a steal and blocked a shot at the perimeter.

Kylie is going through a little bit of a Sophomore slump to start the season but I fully expect her to bounce back as the season rolls along. A volume scorer at the point guard spot, Downey is asked to do a lot for North Bullitt but she’s a very talented young player with a high prospect ceiling and will only get better.
