About Kylie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A quick SG/PG who has a knack for finding seams to get to the basket and can finish through contact. Shoots a high percentage from mid-range as well as behind the arc, good free throw shooter. Handles ball pressure well and can create for others as well. An aggressive defender with quick hands and good instincts.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Loves to apply pressure defensively and offensively to the opponent. Values team success above individual success. Vocal and encouraging of others on the floor, and a good teammate. Highly driven and has a very strong work ethic.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Honor roll student throughout school career. Involved in Student Council, Choir, and Unified Team at school. Has been recognized as Student of the Month.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Has always displayed positive leadership on and off the floor in all activities, is very encouraging and respectful of coaches and teammates. Has volunteered for youth basketball and volleyball for many years, teaching and encouraging the next generation of Falcons. Was chosen as a captain for upcoming season. Volunteers at church.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge (opportunity) was being promoted to the JV/Varsity program as an 8th grader and asked to be point guard and show leadership to older teammates who may have not wanted to take direction from a much younger teammate.

What type of college are you looking for?

Somewhere that has strong academic programs where she can be challenged to be her best. Wants to be challenged and pushed to her highest potential.
