Floyd is a very veratile player with great size and when called on to score can deliver in a variety of ways. She is maybe a bit too perimeter oriented for a player with such a strong body. I suspect this is due to playing with so many other talented bigs who are more of an interior presence in her career. I don’t know that she doesn’t have those skills. I just never see them. A good coach on the next level needs to be sure to develop them with her.
As it is, Floyd would be a great option for a team that wants to run a 5 Out Offense that transitions into a 4 Out, 1 In. She has every skills you would want her to have to play on the perimeter. She is a good shooter, passer, dribbler, rebounder and most importantly a lockdown defender.
I am not sure if she has any offers at the moment, so if I were you Coach I would make contact. This is a player that should be playing on the next level based on her size and defense alone. The rest of her game is also college ready, except in the Post (based on what I have seen).

Floyd plays extremely hard. She was really working when she was on the floor. She crashes the boards hard and she’s also willing to fight for rebounds. Floyd isn’t afraid of physicality or drawing fouls on her drives. She seemed to always be in the right place on both sides of the ball and I think a lot of that can be attributed to her work ethic.

Floyd has high level size and ability that I have seen in person during this past summer but for some reason those abilities have no translated to her winter campaigns. A player with this kind of size, shooting ability, ballhandling capability and effort is flying so low that I imagine tons of coaches do not have her on their radar unless they have seen her play during the summer. rnHopefully, this season she will be encouraged to shoot more than 81 times, 24 of which were from three-point range. A Stretch Player she is not. Getting her the ball moving towards the rim, running the floor and penetration to score around the rim or with the short pull-up jumper is what has been working most for her in what I have seen. rnAs a defender, Floyd does a great job limiting penetration and challenging shots. She can guard just about anybody excellently except for the quickest of ballhandlers. She has been playing with several teammates who are elite rebounders, but with one of them now graduated on to college ball I would hope to see her hit the glass aggressively to help generate some more points and a stronger identity for herself. That is an area that could really help her projections to the next level.
