The Mauston wing has been a do-it-all kid for the Golden Eagles. She’s been a double-digit scorer each year on varsity, led her team to winning seasons, and will likely be a 1,000-point scorer in three seasons. She’s been a productive kid in the South Central Conference and made life difficult for every team in the SCC. She’s another kid without much notoriety around her name, but Heller has the tools to produce for a school in the WIAC or a private D3 school in Wisconsin. Heller is an all-around type of kid.

Not many kids did as much as Kylie Heller Kylie Heller 5'10" | SF Mauston | 2025 State WI did in her junior season at Mauston. Each time I watched her on stream or hudl, I was blown away by how many roles she’d play each game. She’d be a pick-and-roll ball handler and screener in the same game, score off the dribble or in the post, make quick reads, cut, pass in traffic, and rebound. Watching her play in that many ways is incredible and should draw coaches’ attention over the next year. Once more eyes are on her as a senior, the more attention she’ll generate.

HUDL HIGHLIGHTS

Kylie Heller Kylie Heller 5'10" | SF Mauston | 2025 State WI may be a Small Forward because of her size but this weekend, she was doing her best impression of a Shooting Guard. I’m not sure if this was just a, “this weekend”, type situation but Heller was on fire from three, hitting big shot after big shot to help her team. On Saturday, Heller hit a buzzer beater three pointer to tie and push her team to OT to help them try and pull out a W. Following this game, Heller then hit another three pointer with about 20 seconds left in a tie game, to put her team up 3, eventually helping them win the game in the end. I had the chance to watch every grade level at this event and Heller may of been the most clutch out of everyone I saw. Each game she showed up for the entire contest and in the end, she came up big for her team in every way imaginable.

Kylie acted as “Miss Big Shot” in a couple of games today, knocking down a game-tying 3-pointer in one contest, before burying a go-ahead 3-pointer in another. She is a strong, physical forward who can play inside or out. She is comfortable in the mid-post where she can battle for boards, knock down the 15-footer, or attack the basket off the bounce. She can also push the ball up in transition, and as evidenced above, she has the ability to make open perimeter jumpers.
