rises to No. 4 in Oregon’s class of 2028 rankings after an exciting summer with Jason Kidd Select. Beasley’s club team won the 15U Division Power 24 national championship, where she was named to the First Team and MVP. In September, Beasley earned a Division 1 offer from Cal (ACC). The lengthy point guard is a creative ball handler with excellent vision and passing abilities. She can drain the open pull-up three from deep and also in tight spaces around screens. She has good body control and patiently uses the fundamental jump stop to keep her options open downhill. She can turn the corner and slip by to finish at the rim uncontested or find the cutter for the easy bucket. The sophomore should run the offense again for the Astros, this year with a new level of composure. Last season, Benson was eliminated by West Linn by 2 points in a second-round playoff game that went down to the wire. The Astros should return all of their starters, be the top contender for the PIL title, and earn their way to the 6A state tournament this upcoming season.

continues to shine this summer as she attended the University of Oregon’s elite camp.
From the moment Kyoko stepped foot into the arena, she was there to prove she could compete with the best. With a high IQ level for the game and a quick stride up and down the floor, she showed her talents gracefully.
Kyoko is a team player. While she is fully capable of attacking the hoop and blowing by defenders with ease, she’s not shy to pass the ball and make sure those around her are succeeding.
She has a quick release on her shot and is a threat from the outside. Kyoko was awarded two camper standout awards for her hard work and efforts. When interviewing Kyoko, she stated the driving force to come to camp was that she wanted to become a better leader. Congratulations Kyoko, not only did you lead the pack at camp in leadership skills, but you set an example along the way to your peers around you.
Some main goals for Kyoko this season are to become a better teammate and to work on going downhill off of a screen and roll. When asked where she would like to go to college in the future, Kyoko sayas she has her sights set on Oregon and Texas and plans to pursue a D1 scholarship.

is a swift and smooth hooper with a lot of potential. The 5-foot-10 freshman (2028) is a pass-first playmaker who can get her team into its offense and pull up from deep. Beasley can get downhill and is creative with her footwork to get a clean layup at the rim. In her freshman season at Benson, Beasley averaged 7.6 points, 2 steals, 1.8 assists, and 1.2 rebounds per game. Beasley looked confident and in the flow at the point for Jason Kidd Select. She’s working on consistently taking care of the ball, making the right read, and attacking the basket.

is a fun hooper with quick lateral movement. The 5-foot-10 point guard has the ball-handling, three-point shooting, and playmaking abilities and instincts to become great. Beasley can pull up from deep, fake and blow by on the perimeter, and dish the no-look assist in the paint. She can anticipate the play on defense, jump the passing lane for the steal, and finish the fast break layup. Beasley averaged 7.6 points (shooting 42% from the field and 31% from three), 2 steals, 1.8 assists, and 1.2 rebounds per game and was named to the Portland Interscholastic League Second Team her freshman year.
