Kyra Bekaert Kyra Bekaert 5'6" | SG Duchesne Academy | 2024 State NE may of committed to compete with Buena Vista College last October but following that, she put together a noteworthy season at the Varsity level. Bekaert is a smaller guard, who has a smooth and confident play-style. With her Nebraska Attack AAU team last Spring, she displayed that she can be an offensive weapon in the open court or she can hunker down and really help out her team on the defensive side of things. She displays a nice shot form from any distance on the court, with the ability to get to the midrange or basket if anyone is overplaying her a certain way. The Buena Vista Beavers are in a situation where they just replaced their coaching staff and Head Coach. If their new coach can come in with the right system and mindset, they are going to be successful with the personal they have. If not, things become much more interesting down the road. As for Bekaert, she is going to worry about herself and give it her full effort. From a coaching perspective, that’s all you can ask for.
