Laela had a great season last year as a junior earning herself a spot on the 1st-Team All-State Team. She averaged 19 points per game and 6 rebounds per game. She also had 97 steals, 70 assists, and 69 three point makes. She is the Night Hawks best player and a very skilled player. What stood out most to me was her ability to get her teammates involved. She has great vision when attacking the basket and does a great job making decisions on whether to shoot or pass. She is also an exceptional passer with her left hand, something that is difficult to do as a right handed player. Laela will have a strong senior season and should find herself once again on the All-State team.
