If colleges are looking for a fast guard who can handle the ball and use her speed as a weapon by playing with pace and attacking gaps with intention and aggressiveness, Allen is the guard for you. Not only does she have athleticism, but she also has strong basketball IQ and great footwork. When her speed doesn’t work, she knows how to move the ball and use gaps to get to her spots, while her strength allows her to draw fouls, put opposing teams in foul trouble, and add points to the scoreboard. This travel season, she showed improvement in her mid-range pull-up—a necessity at the next level since you can’t always get to the rim. These abilities prove she is ready to compete at the next level.
