Lakia, a dynamic guard for Swift Elite , had an impressive showing on Day 2 of the LBI Jamfest. She consistently kept her eyes up in transition, pushing the tempo and making smart decisions with the ball in her hands. After swiping an inbound pass, she dropped a slick assist to a teammate for an easy bucket. Lakia stayed active off the ball, finding open lanes and creating scoring chances. She also flashed her range with a smooth step-back three and was relentless on the offensive glass, coming away with several boards and converting them into put-backs.
