Lana has a game that might be more adjusted to college, than a normal highschool setting. Playing on the top team for one of the best AAU programs in the state, let alone the Midwest.. shows how skillful she truly is. A threat from deep, crafty on the drive and she plays with strength on both sides of the ball.

Breaking multiple long range records this year, Kerley has the ability to shoot just about anywhere. She’s a multi-position type of player who can score at all levels, plus has the frame and form to shoot it just as well in the post as she does behind the arc. A playmaking forward who can get hot at any moment.

If you run back the clips from this past weekend, you’ll see tons of creativity when attacking the rim, and the confidence to shoot the deep.. deep ball. If the audio is working, you’ll hear tons of “Oooo’s and screams”, when she made those highlight plays. Lana defines position-less basketball… she’s built like a post but can play as your primary guard. She can be a combo guard, a true wing, or a stretch post. She adapts to what’s needed on the court, and this weekend was no different. She put buckets on the board from all levels, she switched and guarded multiple positions, and still had enough in the tank to facilitate the offense when it was crucial.

Another position-less type of talent, Lana showed her ability to play the post, perimeter and mid range area with efficiency. One of the best shooters, and floor runners to participate in this year’s expo. Lana was the topic of discussion for a lot of coaches and scouts. Her size and demeanor are far from how she plays. Kerley runs the break like a guard, plays the paint with more finesse than strength, and her lockdown attitude on defense causes issues for all 5 positions that she can guard. With more years to polish her skillset, Lanas potential will be sky high. 

A highly talented player, who can play a range of positions due to her playing post when she was younger, and her transformation to a guard/wing as she started to play at a higher level. Lana’s high IQ, strong frame, and her tough as nails mentality is a sure separation from those at her position.  Defensively, she can impact the perimeter and the post with the same amount pressure. On the opposite side of the ball.. Lana is a true 3 level scoring machine. Lights out behind the arc, mid range is pure and her size around the rim is a lot to deal with.
