Chavana rhymes with Carvana, and she, too, has multiple ways to do some damage on the court. Let me start with she’s “fearless” and no matter what the setting is, club ball, high school at the TABC, and even here, she doesn’t mind applying pressure defensively while picking pockets for steals. She plays the passing lane, does a good job scoring or dishing off the dribble, and drops the long ball with ease

Chavana can flat-out shoot it, and she has a shooter’s mentality because if you give her any type of spacing, she can let it go and drop it from deep. She’s also heady and does a good job mixing it up to attack and score, and her court vision is solid.

Chavana is showing me she’s one of the best shooters in her class in the Houston area. Not only does she drop the mid- to long-range jumper, but it’s the way she does it that just grabs me. Her variety of fakes, slight HEZ, and deceptive first step allow her to score off the dribble if they play her too tightly, yet give her some room, and VOILA!!!

Chavana is an athletic guard who uses her athleticism on both ends. She immediately showed she could defend, yet watching her take the defender off the dribble to score was nice, so was her dropping the jumper, ala “catch and shoot”

Chavana gets the cover photo because she was hard to cover and her “spin move” in traffic JUST DID IT for me. She uses her athleticism on both ends, on the ball pressure was solid but her court vision also stood out
