was another. Laniyah didn’t have a huge DMV live, but she got a lot of playing time, and I saw a few flashes of what she could be. I love Laniyah’s touch around the rim, and she has great energy as a rebounder. Laniyah has the size to play as a forward, but I think she will develop into a versatile player.

Can run the floor well and finish around the rim in transition. Good activity around the bucket, often leading to her offensive rebounds and easy layups. Finishes around the rim, runs hard in transition on the open floor. Plays power forward but won’t be surprised if she is a full time wing with some experience. All the tools are there with good upside and I won’t be surprised if she is a day one starter her freshmen year next season!

She is an impactful paint defender, and she does a great job on the glass. Laniyah will take her talents to Bishop Ireton, and I could see her getting impactful minutes sooner rather than later.
