I loved the way LJ attacked rebounds. Listed at 5-foot-8, Laura always plays bigger than her height. She hunts rebounds and comes crashing in to earn second chance possessions. She did a nice job scoring putbacks in traffic. Mitchel-Walthall finished with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals against Midtown. She is a terrific glue piece.

I absolutely love how Laura pursues rebounds and battles inside even though she is rarely ever the tallest player on the court. She is an unsung hero with what she does on the glass and defensively. Over three games, Laura pulled down an average of 8 rebounds. Laura’s energy in the paint helps make up for Carrollton’s lack of impactful rotational size.

As I saw at the Sandy’s Spiel Fall League, Laura Mitchell Laura Mitchell Laura Mitchell 5'7" Carrollton | 2025 GA has a great nose for the ball. She’s an exceptional rebounder that plays much bigger than her height. Mitchell plays extremely hard, always crashing the glass. She had her outside shot working as well, hitting a mid-range and a three-pointer.
