Jackson is coming off an All-Conference season and will be an important piece of a young, energetic squad. The 5’10” 2029 forward plays with a physical style, using her strength to attack defenders and compete on the glass. Jackson can also stretch her game beyond the paint, knocking down midrange shots and stepping out to the three-point line when needed. Her rebounding ability has been a consistent part of her game, including 12 rebounds against Clarksville and 13 against Mills. Jackson also showed her scoring ability with 21 points and 8 rebounds against Stuttgart. With her physical approach and ability to contribute both inside and out, Jackson brings a versatile presence to Robinson’s young roster.

This summer, Jackson turned some heads when she had around 20 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals against the reigning 6A state champs, North Little Rock, during a team camp. Jackson putting up big numbers versus solid competition is nothing new.

The rising sophomore plays physically when she’s attacking the basket, and she knows how to get downhill. Don’t leave her open, though, as Jackson has no problem making defenders pay for giving her too much space from mid-range and from three.

Lauren Jackson Lauren Jackson 5'10" | PG/PF Robinson | 2029 State AR is a part of a group of Lady Senators who helped crush the competition this past season, as she earned her 4A-5 North all-conference selection.

Jackson had several strong performances as a freshman last season. Early on in the year against Stuttgart, she looked unstoppable, dropping 28 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. Around that same time, she had a 15-point, 10-board double-double against Alma, as well as a 12-point, 14-rebound double-double against Maumelle.

Jackson is a strong outside scorer who can knock down shots off the catch and the bounce. Working inside the arc is no problem for her either, as hitting a mid-range jumper, lacing a floater, or absorbing contact for a great finish in the paint are all part of her game.

Jackson is a versatile offensive weapon. Her ability to create shots is exemplary, as she has a great handle and can create separation to knock down any shot she sees. Whether she has a look from mid-range or three, that ball is going to rip through the nets, even with a hand in Jackson’s face.

With her length, Jackson can initiate contact down low. If she drives baseline and a defender is in her way, they better move out of the way, as she will do whatever it takes to go up for the layup.
