Lauren was an excellent team contributor on Saturday. She was able to use her strong frame to fight for position from the free-throwline and under for rebounds. The rebounds came at opportune times that helped give her squad extra possessions a countless number of times. The 5’11 forward was not shy about quickly putting back up a shot after securing a board. Lauren was also able to accurately dish out passes to teammates on the wings from the post areas. Altoghter, Mcdaniel’s steady play was undervalued one that led to positively contributing to her team’s effectiveness.
