Lauren is a versatile guard-wing prospect with an all-out style that grabs your attention immediately when she steps onto the court. Lauren communicated with teammates, worked hard to secure rebounds, and had an endless motor. She used a power dribble inside and spun to score a tough, contested floater off the glass. Lauren split the defense and went rumbling down the lane like a running back to score a strong and-one layup with her left hand. She tacked on the free throw and converted freebies at the line throughout the game. Lauren ended the game with a productive eight points, nine rebounds, and three assists.

Lauren is going to be an impactful forward for Dow this season and she was very productive in the high post at the Mid-Michigan Mega Scrimmage today. Lauren created wide open shots for shooters by setting screens on the perimeter and throwing lightning-quick passes as the defense shifted. She flew inside to secure an offensive rebound and converted a strong putback. Lauren threaded the needle with a strong bounce pass in transition and used her quickness to grab a steal. Her aggressive rebounding and versatility to defend multiple positions will be an asset for the Chargers this winter.

Lauren is a balanced point guard who not only can lead her team, but contribute in a variety of ways. She is a good vocal leader who keep things balanced on the court. Defensively she can lock down on the ball and plays with confidence. Focused on making the right play, she is one of the sophomores who I expect to continue to grow her game!
