DSM Christian is going to have a chance to go back to State again this Winter with the roster that they will be returning. Among those players is CG – Lauren Schmaltz Lauren Schmaltz 5'7" | CG Des Moines Christian | 2027 IA . Schmaltz saw consistent time last Winter as a Sophomore and she is prepped to see even more time this season if everything goes to plan. As a scoring guard last Winter, Schmaltz shot 88 three pointers, making 39 of them. (44%) This is a fairly consistent number for someone coming off the bench. She really showed that she can thrive as a knock down specialist within the right system. If she can continue with that this season, she should put up some more respectable numbers as the year goes on and DSM Christian should win a lot of games in the process.
