We saw Lauryn Hough Lauryn Hough 5'7" GTRA | 2029 IA do her thing this season and put up some impressive numbers for GTRA High School in her efforts. Hough was the top APG leader on her Varsity squad with 4.8 while she also brought in 4.5 RPG at the same time. She might not have been their leading scorer but that’s because that was her older sisters who took over that role as Lauryn set them up for success off the dribble with her creating abilities. We are going to see three Hough sisters next year for GTRA and I can’t wait. They will have Lauryn returning for her Sophomore year, as her sisters, Kamryn and Caitlin, return for their Junior year. This group went 22-3 as a whole this last six months so I’m sure we are instored for some more of that over the next couple of seasons as long as they play their cards correctly.

Going 3/3 on Hough girls vs. Newell-Fonda, freshman Lauryn Hough Lauryn Hough 5'7" GTRA | 2029 IA brought her own unique skillset to this game. She flashed her range early with the first triple of the game and continued to make high-IQ plays throughout the matchup. She was one of the best decision-makers on the floor and showed really strong fundamentals — especially as a freshman. Lauryn did all the little things right — jump-stopping with two feet in the lane, pivoting strong on the pickup, finding open players on the double-team, and more. I also loved her hesitation + re-attack attempt in the first half. In the second, she showed more patience with a solid step through teardrop finish and a pivot between two defenders for two more points. I really liked Lauryn Hough Lauryn Hough 5'7" GTRA | 2029 IA ‘s game and she played beyond her age tonight.

The Hough sisters are a group to note. There are a set of twins that are Sophomores and another Freshman, that can all play at a respectable rate. The one o want to highlight in this piece being the Freshman PG – Lauryn. Lauryn might not be the scoring threat that her older sisters are just yet but she is a better overall player when it comes to the numbers so far this season. Hough is leading her team in APG, setting up everyone else around her for successful situations. She is also making her mark in the rebounding and steals department as well. GTRA sits with a 10-1 record as they look to continue on this memorable run into the Post Season and they should be able to do just that if everything goes their way.
