She can thread the needle with her passes, play solid on the defensive end. I love her mental makeup as she is willing to go toe-to-toe with any opponent. Prepare to get her best effort as she is going to find ways to impact the game. Solid kid who has a bright future.

Layla Hickson Layla Hickson 5'3" | PG John Overton (Nashville) | 2028 State TN has unlimited range. In one game at the event, she let a three fly from the left wing with her feet well behind the arc. That shot sank through the bottom of the net with ease.
To go along with her shooting, she also showed off her speed and her playmaking.
At the event, Hickson played point for her team and excelled at it. She had an awareness of when to attack and when to keep things flowing. Her plus speed helps her to get past defenders on the dribble, as well as hound and stay in front of them on the defensive side.
