Layla brings a versatile skill set to Lewis Mills backcourt. A junior guard with excellent ball-handling, she can navigate through heavy defensive pressure and set up scoring opportunities. Ljubuncic is also a capable shooter, stretching defenses and opening driving lanes for teammates. On defense, she is active and relentless, pressuring opposing guards and contesting shots. Her competitive mindset pushes the team to maintain focus and intensity throughout games. As a junior, she is positioned to take on a larger leadership role while continuing to develop her scoring and playmaking abilities. Fans can expect her to make an impact in big games this season. With her combination of skill and potential, she’s one of the rising stars in Connecticut basketball.
