Thornton caught my eye a couple of years ago after a hard knock that led her to the trainer, yet she came back and helped seal the victory with key blocks and rebounding, plus tight defense. I’m watching her elevate her game, see evaluation here, and watching her step outside the paint and defend as well as dropping the midrange pull-up is nice, especially when you’re “long and athletic” and stand above “that magic number”

Thornton grabbed my attention at one of the local tournaments this season and her upside is intriguing because she’s “long and athletic” which is the base. ad she has good timing and she rebounds as well as scores around the basket. She also stands above “the magic number”
