Expert Analysis
Brandon Fisher | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Leah made her presence felt in the paint with her size, length, and activity. She showed soft hands around the basket and consistently created second-chance points with offensive rebounds and putbacks. Defensively, she altered and blocked shots and proved to be a real interior presence for PHU. Offensively, she flashed skill with a smooth spin move inside, played well with her left hand as both a scorer and passer, and did a great job keeping the ball high. Her passing touch stood out as well when delivering a few sharp one-handed bounce passes in transition that led to easy buckets. Leah finished with 16 points, 11 boards, and 5 blocks.

Leah stands out as one of the premier post players in the Tampa Bay area. At 6’5”, her size and presence immediately impact every game she plays. She averaged a double-double last season with 13.8 points and 12.2 rebounds per contest while also leading her team in blocks at 1.9 per game. A true interior force, Leah controls the paint on both ends by altering shots defensively and finishing with efficiency around the rim. Her combination of height, touch, and rebounding ability makes her one of the most dominant frontcourt players in Florida’s 2026 class and a popular name on recruiting boards across divisions.

is still available and will be a steal for any program needing size and mobility. This 6’5″ center plays with aggression, runs the floor well, and has a soft touch around the rim. Leah is also a rebounding machine who actively goes after boards instead of waiting for them to come to her. Offensively, she keeps the ball high to prevent smaller guards from stripping it and secures entry passes without bringing the ball down. Defensively, she knows how to play straight up without fouling and blocks shots effectively without swinging down. She also battles for position, sealing her defenders and forcing them into uncomfortable situations since most are not close to her height. Her ability to create extra possessions and protect the rim without getting into foul trouble makes her an instant-impact player at the next level.

is hard to call “under the radar” at 6’5″, but she has only recently popped up on the scene for most. She has been impressive in this short July viewing period and could really catch the attention of programs with her ability to run the floor, her light footwork, soft touch around the rim, and her strength in playing through physical contact.

Leah was an easy addition to our rankings as there are very few players in the state with her height. She’s a lefty and continues to improve her game each time I see her. In her Junior year, she put together a stat line of 13.8 ppg, 12.2 rpg, and 1.9 bpg as one of the top players in Pinellas County.

, the 6’5″ center, is a double-double machine, coming off a high school season where she averaged 13.8 PPG and 12.2 RPG while shooting 50% from the field—making her a constant threat on the floor.
Barker runs the floor well and possesses solid footwork, making her an instant prospect for college coaches. This season, she recorded at least 13 rebounds in seven games, including three games with 20 or more.
Barker is UP NEXT!
