DCG is in a prime position within the 4A Class at the moment. They are the favorite to bring home the Class State Title because of their mixture of personal, coaching, and culture. Someone who is going to be a steady piece for this group is Leah Brauch Leah Brauch 5'8" | PG DCG | 2026 State IA . Brauch is coming off of a successful AAU season with her AIA program out of DSM and she has recently committed to South Dakota School Of The Mines to continue on with her Basketball career following her Senior year. For the Mustangs to make their mark this season and fight for that title, everyone needs to take care of their job, Brauch included but I’m not too worried about that.

The All Iowa Attack program have multiple players who have either been offered or who have recently committed to South Dakota School Of Mines. The last being Leah Brauch Leah Brauch 5'8" | PG DCG | 2026 State IA of DCG High School. Brauch would be categorized as a longer, physical player, who is willing to sacrifice herself for the good of her team. She is willing to get scrappy in the middle and let other opponents know that she will fight for her space every chance she gets. I’m expecting Brauch to see the floor consistently this Winter for the Mustangs. They will have little chances in their lineup compared to years past but I still think they will return as a team to beat out of their Class. They will have a few college committed prospects starting for them so we will just have to see how far they can take things.
