Expert Analysis
Brandon Bradley | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Leah is a skillful, high IQ basketball player who has put together a nice career. She is a multisport athlete and has already committed to play softball at Ferris State University in the Spring of 2027. On the basketball court, she has been a standout as well. Defensively this year, she is averaging 3.9 blocks per game, and she utilizes her tremendous length and athleticism to do that. She is also a very good shooter with range to the 3-point line, she can attack off the dribble a little, and she’s an active rebounder as well. She is averaging career highs across the board at 17.8 points, 11.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 3.6 steals per game. She is also just a couple of games away from 1000 career points.

Leah made an immediate impact at Leo last season as a Freshman, and she just continues to grow, gain strength, and become more explosive. She has a very long frame, but she also has some perimeter skill with an accurate jumper from the perimeter. She is great in ball screen situations, because she can pick and pop, pick and roll, or get inside and use her length to rebound and defend. She doesn’t mind physicality, and I like how she does a little of everything at both ends of the floor.
