Spychala is a versatile Forward prospect. She stands at 6’2 and she is very good at doing her work early by getting down the floor quickly. Offensively, she can post and back down her opponent with a powerful move on the block, usually absorbing contact and finishing the play or she can work from the perimeter. She seems to be very good at cutting without the basketball, always making herself available to her teammates that might be looking for her. This weekend Spychala will be competing with her Full Package 2025 3SSB team and I can’t wait to see what they put together.

I tend to forget that Leah is only a junior. She has a great frame, is a defensive threat down low and she seemed to block every call that was in her vicinity. Her offense isn’t too shabby either-she can shoot just as well from 3 as she can from inside.

Spychala has a lot of unnoticed things that build her game, but it’s the things that most coaches appreciate. Her awareness and sense are great, she works hard on every possession, and her ability to still remain impactful even after battling with the physicality is something to take notice of.
