Lexi has multiple NSIC offers and has an incredible ceiling as a prospect. She has very strong shoulders and legs for a high school player. Her frame is already impressive and will be very valuable for the next level. She is already able to dominate the high school level and will be incredible difficult to stop at the next level if she continues gaining strength. Lexi is tough from the mid-post because of how athletic she is. She can take slower posts off the bounce and bully smaller defenders to the basket. She can knock down the mid-range with ease and touch. Lexi is a fantastic talent.

Alexis had a great weekend, leading Sanford 16U Black in scoring through the first three games.  She scored in double figures each game and made her presence known near the rim.  She is a super physical player and a nice forward prospect.  I like how tough she is and how relentless she is when she pursues the ball.

+8 – If you read our weekly recap two weeks ago – The Week That Was #12: All in the (Brekke) family – then you know that Lexi comes from a long line of ballers who have enjoyed incredible success at both the high school and collegiate levels. If you’ve seen Lexi play live (and not many have just yet) then it should be obvious that she is carrying on the family traditions rather well. This summer Lexi will take center stage in AAU basketball and coaches need to watch. In every class there are very few players with the potential to play forward at the D1 level. Lexi is one of them. She rises 8 places to #33.
