About Lexy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Seacoastonline describes me as a player who brings ‘her explosive speed, athleticism, and quickness to the team. ‘ I see the floor well and am an unselfish player who makes the right decisions.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m determined to reach my goals and always give 100% effort whether we are winning or losing.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m a scholar athlete who is in math honor society, tutors, and am a volunteer coach for youth, which I really enjoy.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was my freshman team soccer captain and am a peer tutor. I play three sports which all involve tremendous teamwork - soccer, basketball and track.

Rogers came onto the radar as someone who can be a stifling defender, however her overall development puts her in prime position to have a breakout year. Lexy has fantastic speed and she can use this to get deep lane penetration. The repercussions of getting touches in the paint can be lethal. It sets off a chain reaction which causes the defense to be out of position and overtime, out of whack. Rogers loves to play up-tempo, so the defense must engage her early to attempt to contain the attacks.
